Four sound pieces created for the July 2020 artist residency at Ultra Dogme.
"These sound works are recorded live performances that deal with gender and sex. Some of these are explicitly autobiographical (My cunts… and I have dreams…). There has been minimal editing to the audio in order to preserve the space that is created. Listen with headphones. You are listening in on a private moment in a room. These are not compositions. You are listening to an active body. These are closer to language than to music." - JJ
"Somebody shoot me while I'm happy" is a reference to Fats Domino.
These works were inspired partially by the zine, "Fucking Trans Women" by Mira Bellwether
